Rickey Gilley

Bio

Coach Ricky Gilley enters his 4th season as an assistant coach at South Pittsburg. Coach Gilley will again serve as our Assistant Defensive Coordinator & Passing Game Coordinator. Coach Gilley was an instrumental part in helping our 2023 State Championship team allow less than 5 points per game. He played at Lookout Valley High School and then collegiately at Cumberland University. He has coached at Sequatchie County, Lookout Valley, Chattanooga Central, Ridgeland, Sale Creek, Hixson, & Silverdale. He has served as both an offensive and defensive coordinator during his career. Coach Gilley has one daughter, Cayla Jacob (26), and three sons Caden (21), Cavin (19), & Creed (12).
